FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):
EX: The article cites Maria Nikolajeva, a professor of at Cambridge, as saying that Bella does not "in any way promote independent thinking or personal development" in women, instead portraying a woman "meek and willing to do anything for her vampire boyfriend" (POV).
When people think about child abuse they do not know that there are "over 3 million reports of child abuse are made every year in the United States; however, those reports can include multiple children". They sometimes thing it is about 1 million people.
"In 2009, 3.3 million child abuse reports and allegations were made involving an estimated 6 million children"; this is an example of multiple children being abused every report.
Child reports are very frequent and people are unaware that "a report of child abuse is made every ten seconds".
There can be a cure for child abuse but we have to protect and cure the kids that are going through child abuse today because "about 30% of abused and neglected children will later abuse their own children, continuing the horrible cycle of abuse".
Child abuse hurts the kid in the long run because there was a test and "about 80% of 21 year old's that were abused as children met criteria for at least one psychological disorder".

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION): Child Help is a group that was created to prevent child abuse and to treat the victims of child abuse. They were formed by a group of people that wanted to make a difference in children's lives. They are located in America.

Credibility of Source:
Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site? The author is the group Childhelp. They are a national organization. The purpose of the site is to inform the nation of the statistics of child abuse. Childhelp funds the site.

Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business? The author is informative by showing the statistic of child abuse around the world.

Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing?
I do not detect bias in the writing because they show facts.

References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility? Yes they cite references in writing and it does not take away the credibility from the site.

Use of Source: How will you use this source in your project?
I will use this source in my project by providing evidence and statistics of child abuse in other countries.
