FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):

The group Childabuse works with other organizations for example, "Prevent Child Abuse America worked to lead the public in taking a more informed and active part in child abuse prevention".
This organization is making the "public opinion polls have indicated that over the years, the percentage of people aware of the problem has greatly increased".
The public does not think much of child abuse but when "the media campaigns of the organization during these years has educated the public about the problem, and significantly influenced public opinion".
The organization knows and keeps track of the other organizations and observed the  "Child Abuse America's goals expanded to encourage more people to become actively involved in preventing child abuse".
In the past people were aware of child abuse and it reflected through the years and "today, the general public realizes that everyone has a role to play in preventing child abuse and neglect".

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION): The Child abuse group is making the public aware of child abuse. They are trying to prevent child abuse anywhere and everywhere in the world. They are organizing media campaigns to get the word across of child abuse.

Credibility of Source:
Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site? The author of the site is Gregory M. Chase. He has trained with educational organizations to help him with the cause. He wants to prevent child abuse around the world. Child Abuse group funds the site and other organizations.

Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business? He wants to gain the prevention of child abuse in the places he influences.

Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing? I do not detect a bias because there if no good thing that can come from child abuse.

References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility? He does not cite references but has other organizations help him and it adds to the credibility.
